An exciting ribbon cutting event, to mark their partnership with
Texas A&M University San Antonio, was held at Winston Intermediate School for Excellence on Friday, August 3, 2021.
Attendees heard inspirational words from EISD Deputy Superintendent Philip Chavez, Principal Claudia Sanchez and Texas A&M University-San Antonio Exec. Dir. for the Institute for School and Community Partnerships, Henrietta Muñoz.
Closing out the event was Winston students who read a wonderful poem in Spanish and English.
