It’s officially Fiesta! To celebrate fun festivities were in full effect throughout the District. Including students making hats in Mr. Kallam’s first grade class at Gardendale Early Learning Program, and Fiesta royalty stopping by the Winston Intermediate School of Excellence. King Antonio and his court cheered on students, and explained the importance of being kind. During his visit he also recognized WISE students Mario Cruz, and Raven Falcon, as well as fourth grade teacher Ms. Nadia Lopez. The event ended with free fiesta medals for everyone.
