Senior portraits for
Memorial High School student, Laura Mora, were bitter-sweet. She is looking forward to crossing the stage in June 2022 as she will be one of only three people in her family to graduate with a high school diploma.
“My siblings all graduated from
Memorial High School and I’ll be the next,” said Laura. “My parents are proud of that. They also worked hard to get us to where we are now.”
Her family is what has kept her going especially now that a loved one has left her side too soon.
“My grandpa passed away recently and won't be there to see me graduate," Laura said through tears. “But I know he would be so proud of me. He really would."
We are so proud of your accomplishments Laura and can’t wait to see you achieve remarkable things.
