Congratulations to John F. Kennedy High School’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) who placed and/or are advancing to state after participating at the Regional competition held at Southwest High School. Numerous students placed in different categories including Digital Publishing, Animation and Marketing Concepts. In March, students will be traveling to compete in the BPA State Competition. Great job students!

Placements and State Qualifiers:

• Kelly Arzola placed 2nd in Basic Office Systems and Procedures is advancing to State Competition.

• The Video Production Team: Emily Duque, Daniel Pena, Xavier Gutierrez, Isaac Rodriguez placed 1st and is advancing to State Competition.
• The Animation Team: Dorian Trevino, Jeremy Mendez, and Dominik Reyna placed 2nd and is advancing to State Competition.  
• Ruben Bonilla placed 2nd in Graphic Design Promotion and is advancing to State Competition.
• Christopher Lopez placed 3rd in Fundamentals of Desktop Publishing and is advancing to State Competition.  
• Ethan Morin placed 2nd in Digital Publishing and is advancing to State Competition.
• Autumn Ozuna placed 1st in Digital Publishing and is advancing to State Competition.  
• Ethan Morin placed 4th in Digital Marketing Concepts
• Autumn Ozuna placed 5th in Information Technology Concepts.
