📵 New School Year, New Law! Beginning in the 2025-2026 school year Texas HB 1481 means students can’t use personal devices (phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) during the school day while on campus.
✅ Texas does allow exceptions for documented medical needs and IEP requirements.
✅ EISD Board of Trustees is currently working on updating policy & enforcement
📵 ¡Nuevo ciclo escolar, nueva ley! A partir del ciclo escolar 2025-2026, la ley HB 1481 de Texas prohíbe que los estudiantes usen dispositivos personales (teléfonos, tabletas, relojes inteligentes, etc.) durante el día escolar mientras estén en el campus.

EISD your generosity is amazing! Let's do it again! EISD Police are collecting more relief supplies for flood victims. Please take a look at the list and donate what you can. EISD PD will be accepting donations until 8 p.m. tonight and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
EISD is asking for your help to provide much-needed supplies to the Hill Country communities devastated by the July 4th floods. Edgewood ISD Police are collecting relief supplies to take to the Kerrville area this Friday. Drop off your donation at EISD PD, 5358 W Commerce until 8 p.m. tonight (July 9) and from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. tomorrow (July 10).
