Edgewood Independent School District is proud to announce it has been awarded the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 2024-2025 reporting period. This award recognizes the district's commitment to transparency, accountability, and the highest standards in financial reporting.
This award is one of the highest honors a school district can receive for financial reporting. It shows that Edgewood ISD does an excellent job managing district funds and keeping the community informed about how money is used to support students and schools.

District leaders credit the accomplishment to the expertise and collaborative efforts of the Finance Department, whose work ensures that financial information is reported with integrity and accuracy while supporting the district's mission of serving students.
