Congratulations to the Fine Arts Academy Robotics students who are advancing to Regionals after competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge South San Antonio Metro League Meet.
Competing against 27 other teams, Team Newton not only swept the competition on the field but also, received the “Inspire Award,” the highest award of the competition.
Educator, Mr. Richard Huntoon couldn't be more proud. “At the competition, I was reminded of my WHY. All the trials, struggles and obstacles, not to mention that the hours and hours working can wear on the vision and objectives set out to obtain. These students persevered and never lost enthusiasm for their vision. The results speak for themselves.”
Team Newton will travel to New Braunfels in February to compete in the Central Texas Regional Championship.
