Camp Power Up is a day camp that will help children Power Up for a healthy life. The Camp is a great blend of fun activities and wellness education to help them learn about diabetes and diabetes prevention. Family education will be available at the conclusion of each day for full family engagement.
Edgewood ISD will participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which was established to continue the free meal program for students who depend on free breakfast and lunch during the school year. On Tuesday, June 28th 2016 the Edgewood ISD Board of Managers authorized the Interim Superintendent to issue a Request for Proposals for firms interested in conducting a Superintendent search on the behalf of the district.

Due to on-going and up-coming renovations to several venues, the district will not be renting athletic facilities, effective immediately and throughout the 2016-2017 school year.
Renovations are expected to be completed, in phases, by May 2017.
As completion draws near, rental guidelines and dates will be made public.
