Degrees and Certifications:
Rosalie grew up in Dilley, Texas and earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.
She is currently an educator at Memorial High School where she has taught for two years and is pleased to instill the love for learning in her students.
“I believe every student can perform at a top-level and my goal is to be the teacher to help them reach their highest potential.”
When asked what she enjoys about teaching in Edgewood ISD, she says it’s being able to make learning fun. “I learned mathematics differently growing up. So, I do my best to provide engaging experiences for my students and they appreciate it.”
As for being nominated Teacher of the Year, Rodriguez says she feels very proud for this accomplishment. “It feels great to be recognized for my work ethic, especially when my fellow educators ask me for assistance.”
