• Dear Parents/Guardians,

The key to preventing violence lies in teaching our children better ways of relating to others and how to resolve conflicts peacefully.  At Cisneros Elementary we are committed to this endeavor by providing students and staff with a Violence Prevention and Character Education Program.  This program is positive, coordinated, and consistent across all grades K – 5.  This year, a variety of activities including assemblies, team building activities, role play scenarios, and discussions about ways to deal with violence will be introduced to students over the course of the school year.

Together, as equal partners we can create a safe and positive learning environment, an environment free from malicious teasing, threats, intimidation, and fear.  No one should be afraid to come to school.  Please join us in our effort to put an end to violence by reviewing the articles, strategies, character values, and Mustang Pledge your child will learn throughout the school year.  Once again, thank you for your support in supporting our campaign against violence.
