Welcome,
My name is Mrs. Perez. I have been teaching for twenty years. I enjoy teaching and specialize in early childhood. My main concentration has been with the younger students, they bring me many joyful experiences.

My conference time is at 10:00-10:45, you are welcome to call me or set up a meeting with the teacher at this time.

I am looking forward to teaching your class this year.

Classroom Procedures

  • Attendance: Regular school attendance is essential for your child to make the most of his/her education. Please make an effort to have your child at school every day. If they must be absent call and be prepared to submit an absent note upon returning.

Tardies-Students may be signed in at 7:45 am every day and will be counted tardy at 8:00 am. If your child is late you must get a tardy slip from the office before they enter the room.

Homework- Homework for the week will be given every Monday. There may be some days of arts/crafts, and some days when there is nothing to turn in. It is your responsibility to work with your child on all homework assignments. These letters will be sent home by the teacher. Simple tasks are asked to be completed and explained on theme letters. These tasks reinforce concepts taught in the classroom. Tasks shall not take more than fifteen minutes. I encourage you to help your child with these tasks; this is an opportune time for parents to enjoy a quantity and a quality time with their child.
