Annual TechExpo


The EISD Instructional Technology Department hosted the Inaugural EISD TechExpo on May 1st, 2018! The purpose of the Virtual TechExpo is to highlight teacher, student, and department innovation in 21st-century teaching and learning as well as provide students with a platform to share their knowledge as digital age learners. 

We are excited to announce that the 2021 Virtual TechExpo will take place on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.

register here This Virtual TechExpo will offer a variety of 15 or 30 minute pre-recorded sessions (best for student presenters) and LIVE (30 minutes to 60 minutes in length) virtua

l sessions to actively teach and model your session/topic. Students are also welcomed to co-present alongside you in either the pre-recorded or Live/Virtual option. As usual, we will have some awesome swag, including t-shirts, for you and your co-presenters. 

Teachers attending the TechExpo will receive up to 3 hours of professional development! You don't want to miss this great opportunity to learn from students and their teachers/sponsors. Register in Eduphoria!

PK-2 Artwork Contest

This year's Virtual TechExpo art contest will use Nearpod to encourage PK-2nd grade students to submit digital artwork that depicts caring and connecting in the virtual classroom. The students will also verbally explain what inspired them to create their work. The deadline to submit entries is Thursday, April 22, 2021.
