The Edgewood ISD Office of Employee Relations works to improve employee-employer relationships by fostering and maintaining professional standards of conduct. The office also serves as a resource to guide district administrators through the grievance and disciplinary processes in a manner that adheres to district policy and state law.
To better serve the district community, the Office of Employee Relations is available to provide the following services:

Policy and procedural interpretations and administration

Reviews all proposed actions, including written reprimands, demotions, suspensions and terminations prior to being administered

Assistance and advice on the Grievance and Appeal process

Training and professional development and onsite specialized training upon request

Conflict resolution between parties via facilitated mediation and discussions
