Edgewood ISD Physical Plant Services strives to provide the backbone of support to all campuses with 65 teammates. With a ‘students first' mindset of each team member, we provide a 24/7 service to the District to ensure a functioning learning environment. This team covers 2.1 MILLION square feet of campus space while ensuring the 110 acres of land are manicured to a prestigious level. We strive to provide the best staff support by providing a five-day response time when our crews will be out to assess a work order. This section has averaged 10,000 work orders a year touching all district buildings. Over the last three years, their efforts have led to capturing over $600,000.00 in CPS Energy rebates in turn, leading the charge in the most rebate returns in the State of Texas.
