When the best high school football players in the area suit up for the 2024 San Antonio Sports All-Star game, Edgewood ISD will be represented on the field.
Memorial High School Senior Ray Villanueva has been selected as a defensive player for the All-Star game’s ‘Black Team.’ He’ll suit up alongside top talent from schools such as Uvalde, Taft, Poth, Reagan, LEE and John Jay.
“{We} congratulate Rey on his hard work and commitment to being Minutemen student-athlete,” says Assistant Football Coach Manuel Ramon.
The 46th annual All-Star Game is set for January 6, 2024 at the Alamodome.
