The EISD Multilingual Program is keeping student’s Spanish skills fresh this summer with the Bilingual Summer Session!
Students entering kinder and first grade in the 21-22 school year were invited to improve their Spanish literacy with interactive activities like number games and vocabulary building exercises. These emergent bilingual students gain an understanding of Spanish concepts in all subject areas including math, reading and writing.
After completion of the summer session, students are given the necessary tools and confidence needed to hit the ground running when the new school year begins.

Factors such as age, grade level, LEP status, parent interest in the program, are considered when making recommendations for program placement.
