Welcome to a new and wonderful school year. Please feel free to contact me anytime that you need to. I will be glad to talk to you or meet with you about your son or daughter at any time.
Mr. Jackson has been teaching in Edgewood for twenty one years in the district. He is starting his fifth year at JFK High School. It has been a great start so far.
He graduated fifth out of 488 students in his graduating class at Carthage High School. During high school he played football, baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer. He exceeded in all sports. In football and baseball he was first team all-district, first team all-region and first team all-area. Carthage won the state title for the 5th year in a row. Go Bulldogs!!!!
From high school he went on to Panola College http://www.panola.edu where he attended school and played baseball. The two years that he was there our baseball team went to the the national championships both years. After two years there he graduated with an associate degree in computer science. After Panola College I went to Stephen F. Austin State University (SFASU) http://www.sfasu.edu. While at SFA he played football and baseball. He graduated there with a finance degree along with my teaching certification.
His teaching certification is in business. He also has a Microsoft Certification as a MCP , a CISCO Certification(Networking) , an A+ Certification, Adobe CS6 Dreamweaver certified, and I am MOUS Certified . He loves working on computers and designing networks. He is always looking to learn something new and he is never intimidated by new things.
He really enjoy seeing that light bulb turn on in the eyes of each and every student that he comes in contact with. he tries to keep the following statement in the forefront of everything that he does. "Always remember one thing, everyone that you come in contact with becomes a part of you and most importantly you become a part of them." If we all would live by that simple rule, life would be much more enjoyable. He loves coaching football and softball at Kennedy.
