Ms. Borrego, Reading Interventionist
Hi, my name is Norma Borrego and I have worked in the Edgewood Independent School District for 14 years as a first, second and third grade teacher. This is my first year working at the 6th Grade Academy as a Reading Interventionist and I am very excited for the year ahead. I enjoy working with not only my students but with their parents and the entire campus community.
I graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1999. I then continued my educational journey and earned my Masters of Education in Advanced Literacy in 2012.
When not in the classroom, I enjoy learning about the different cultures of the world by traveling abroad. I have most recently visited the countries of Japan and Ireland.
