Dyslexia Intervention Program (DIP)

    The Dyslexia Intervention Program or DIP is a multisensory curriculum from Region 20 which teaches phonics and the structure of the English language. This multisentory program teaches reading, writing, spelling, and verbal and written skills by engaging the visual, auditory and kinesthetic modalities simultaneously. Each DIP lesson has the following components:
    • Language
    • Alphabet Activity
    • Reading Deck
    • Spelling Deck
    • New Learning
    • Reading Practice
    • Handwriting
    • Spelling
    • Review
    • Listening and Verbal Expression
    • Study Skills

    Each DIP lesson is designed to take anywhere from 40-50 minutes. I meet daily with each group of students.
