Technology Applications is offered to introduce, refresh, and enhance basic computer skills. Students will learn computer skills to successfully function in a technological society. Units of study include keyboarding, technology operations & concepts, digital citizenship, research & information fluency, communication & collaboration, and critical thinking & problem solving. The course emphasizes the application of technology skills to other areas of the curriculum.

    Topics include:

    Acceptable use policy, keyboarding, netiquette, cyberbullying, online predators, texting and sexting, copyright, ethical issues, email, word processing, online privacy, identity theft, spreadsheets, & presentations.


    Unfinished Classwork / Missed Assignments Policy:

    If you are absent, it is your responsibility to find out what you missed.
    Staying after school will be necessary to complete unfinished classwork or missed assignments. Tuesday or Wednesday I am usually available, however, you must check with me first to confirm the day you will be staying.
