Buenos dias! My name is Mike Siguaw. I am a Special Education teacher at Memorial High School. I provide Support Facilitation for students in Social Studies, particularly World Geography, World History, U.S. History, Government and Economics.

I have been in Education for 23 years as an elementary, middle, and high school teacher with five San Antonio area school districts, (San Antonio ISD, Ft. Sam Houston ISD, Lackland ISD, Southside ISD and Edgewood ISD). All my years and experience have been with Special Education, as well as providing administrative services in High School and Elementary schools. Puedo hablar espanol tambien.

I have attended several colleges and universities. These include Sul Ross State University, (Alpine TX), Our Lady of Lake University and Texas A&M at Kingsville, TX.  I have a Bachelors degree in Government and Spanish, a Master degree in Political Science, and other certifications in Special Education and Mid-Management. I am certified to teach all grade levels of Special Education, Government and Spanish.
I was born and raised in Montana.  I then moved to Venezuela, South America, and Iran, Middle East, because my family was involved in the Oil Industry.  I was fortunate to travel extensively twice around the world during that time.  I moved back to America and resided in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  I then moved to San Antonio and worked with the City of San Antonio Police Dept.  I have been here since with my wife of 28 years.  I have two wonderful teenage boys, one in high school and the other at the University of Texas @ San Antonio.
I am involved in my church, community and school.  I love many things, especialy hiking, backpacking, camping, traveling, learning and teaching!  Cuidase bien!
