Roundabout rounding was my response to my Principal's question on how I taught rounding. She had noticed my tutoring students whom had previously become distressed when rounding was mentioned become energized when asked to round a number. I had taught these students my roundabout rounding method using this very powerpoint. Rounding had become something they were now proud to show they could master-making math easy.
