I would like to share the official results of our recent U.I.L. Marching Band competition.

 

The Memorial Band was one of the only three San Antonio schools to receive a 1st Division rating from the U.I.L. Marching Band judges on Saturday.

 

We are only one of the two to receive unanimous 1st Division ratings from all three judges. Brennan High School from N.I.S.D. was the only other San Antonio school to receive the same rating as Memorial High School.

 

Judges were impressed with the students strong fundamental skills, musical interpretation, high energy and attention to detail.

 

We are truly proud of the accomplishments of our students especially in all of San Antonio proper, no other high school band has achieved this feat.

 

We will be requesting recognition for our students at our next E.I.S.D school board meeting.
