I drove by a NISD school the other day and they were holdingan Open House. The parking lot was packed; parents were parking on the curbsand walking a few blocks to reach the school. I wonder what those schools aredoing to increase parent participation. There is definitely a correlationbetween a child's success and a parent's involvement. What can we do asteacher's to encourage our parents to come in? Are we sending the wrongmessage...that our campus is closed to parents...we simply do not have the attendancewe should.

What should we do?
