Edgewood ISD seeks nominees for Hall of Fame

 

The Edgewood Education Foundation and the Edgewood School District will honor two recipients with the prestigious Edgewood Hall of Fame award in March 2014.  Applications for the Hall of Fame can be found on the District’s website at: www.eisd.net, under the About Us section.

Applications are due Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Office of the Superintendent or the Office of Communications/PR at 5358 West Commerce Street.

The Edgewood ISD Hall of Fame was created in 1982 by the student councils of the District’s high schools to offer formal recognition to Edgewood ISD graduates who through their service and contribution, have brought honor and distinction to themselves and to the District.

Last year’s recipients were Chef Johnny Hernandez, Kennedy High School, Class of 1987 and Dr. Sulema Carreon-Sanchez, Memorial HS, Class of 1970. They became the 58th and 59th recipients of the award.
