The Edgewood Education Foundation and the Edgewood ISD will honor two recipients with the prestigious Edgewood Hall of Fame award this summer.
Applications for the Hall of Fame can be found on the District’s website at www.eisd.net, under the About Us section.
Applications are due Friday, May 3, at the Office of the Superintendent or the Office of Communications & Public Relations at 5358 W. Commerce St.
The Edgewood ISD Hall of Fame was created in 1982 by the student councils of the District’s high schools to offer formal recognition to Edgewood ISD graduates who, through their service and contributions, had brought honor and distinction to themselves and to the District.
Last year’s recipients were George Lira, Edgewood High School Class of 1966, and Greg Pardo III, Memorial High School Class of 2001. Lira and Pardo became the 56th and 57th recipients of the award.
