Congratulations Ydalia Torres!
 
We are so proud of you and your accomplishments. Ydalia Torres, 5th grader here at Roosevelt Elementary, won first place for District Council 5 in the San Antonio Texas Cavaliers River Parade Art Contest. There were 3,300 entries and she was the only winner from Edgewood ISD. Ydalia was awarded a summer scholarshipto the Southwest School of Art in Downtown San Antonio. Roosevelt ES was alsoawarded $1,000 in art supplies. We are so proud of Ydalia, her parents, and herart teacher, Ms. Miriam Martinez.
