Registration & Orientation is held every Monday from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM. Please arrive no later than 6:00 p.m.. Bring your government issued ID such as a Texas Department of Public Safety Driver License and Social Security Card.
You must complete the on-line demographic form before
you come in to register. If you do not a a computer or access to the internet, come by The Westside Education & Training Center and use the community lab.
Click on the link below to go to the demographic form. On the day of Registration you will come to our office for Registration & Orientation, to pay your fees, to show your documents, and to receive your test date appointments.
To qualify to take the GED Test:
-You must not be enrolled in school
-You must not be a high school graduate If you are.... 18 Years & older- Must be a Texas resident and have current DPS ID
and/or Driver’s License Social Security Card, Military ID or Official Passport 17 years old- Must be a Texas resident and have official withdrawal papers, current DPS picture ID and written parental or guardian permission form to test.
16 years old - Must be a Texas resident and have official
withdrawal papers, Court Order, current DPS picture ID and written parental or guardian permission form to test.
GED Testing Fee is $110.
Cash or Money Order ONLY.
Vouchers from approved service or education institutions are accepted.

Test days and times during the regular school year are as follows: Wednesdays (Alternating): Math: 5:30 - 8:15 pm Writing: 5:30 - 8:20 pm Saturdays: Reading: 8:30 - 10:10 am Social Studies: 10:30 am -12:10 Science: 12:30 - 2:15 pm
We will be open for testing during the summer months. During the summer we will be testing Reading, Social Studies and Science on Fridays at the same times as Saturdays. The Saturday schedule will resume in mid-August.
TESTING DATES AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
All school district holidays are observed.
