Stella Camacho | Secretary

Stella Camacho is a graduate of John F Kennedy High School and a long-time resident of the Edgewood Independent School District. She attended St. Mary’s University and San Antonio College, and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Accounting through the online program with the University of Phoenix.

After a 20 year career in banking, Mrs. Camacho chose to work from home as a free-lance bookkeeper and tax preparer. She works with small to medium size businesses as well as individuals providing assistance in office organization, accounting services and tax preparation.

Working as an independent contractor has allowed her the flexibility and time to volunteer at her sons’ schools for the past seven years. Through these years she has been a parent volunteer, a PTA member, a designated Parent Ambassador, an Elementary School PTA President, an EISD PTA Council Secretary and a member of DEIC. Volunteering and working closely with students, teachers and staff members has strengthened her passion and admiration for the Edgewood School District and the pride it carries in our community.

She and her husband, Joe Camacho, are blessed with a beautifully combined family of 6 sons, 2 daughters and 13 grandchildren. Holiday gatherings at the Camacho home are huge!

" Our Edgewood District is far from finished in its continued quest to bring forth outstanding students and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of this promised venture."

“Students, respect your parents for they brought you into this world…

Respect your teachers, for they teach you about this world…

Respect your peers, for they live with you in this world…

Respect yourself, for you are the future of this world.”
