No Child Left Behind Report Card
The state and
school district report card requirements of No Child Left Behind
(NCLB) are met by the use of the existing Student Assessment
reports and the Adequate Yearly Progress and Highly Qualified
Reports developed by the Texas Education Agency. Both the
state of Texas and Edgewood ISD data is provided through the
following links.
Highly Qualified Teachers
For school year 2006-2007, the Texas
Department Agency recognizes that 100% of Edgewood ISD teachers
are "Highly Qualified" in all core subjects in their primary
teaching assignment in the areas of regular and special
education.
Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)
Measurement of the
student achievement over a period of time in the areas of
Reading, Math, Graduation and Attendance Requirements.
Academic Excellence Indicator System
(AEIS)
