Welcome Gardendale Mustangs,

My name is Claudia Hernandez.  I am the Assistant Principal here at Gardendale Elementary.  I look forward to an exciting year as we work together to meet the needs of all our students.   

 

I am a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and earned a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters in Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio.  I have worked in the Edgewood Independent School District for the past 10 years as a classroom teacher, technology teacher, instructional facilitator, instructional officer, and assistant principal. 

 

Parental support is critical to the succes of our school and is always encouraged.  I invite you to serve as volunteers, but most importantly, as our our partners in your child's education.
