For those of you I have not had the pleasure of meeting yet, my name is Mary Inco. I am coming from LBJ Elementary,a school that had the highest scores in the District on STAAR for 2012-2013.
I have been with the District for the last 28 years in the capacity of Teacher 13 years ,Instructional Facilitator for 3 years, Instructional Officer 2 years, Assistant Principal 4 years, Principal 6 years.
The administration, faculty and staff are committed to providing the best educational services for our students.
We are extremely happy for a new type of experience for our incoming sixth graders. They will have technology and a different schedule to help them transition into middle school. I know that they will be successful working with the same teachers within a team in order to build that relationship.
Our goals are fairly simple: To provide the academic rigor necessary for continued success and to emphasize character education and good citizenship for all students.
By delivering high-quality, research-based instruction and maintaining high standards, our students are given the opportunity to learn at rates equal to, if not superior to all other students in the state.
We are extremely proud of the learning environment that has been created for the sixth grade academy.
