This course explores commonly encountered ethical dilemmas from the pharmacy practice. Students are introduced to the profound influence that medication laws, standards, and regulations have on practice. Included in this subject, students are introduced to federal and state laws governing the practice of pharmacy. Upon successful completion of the course, students should have attained skills that will enable them to identify unethical behaviors, identify possible solutions, and analyze solutions for appropriateness using ethical decision-making models, while noting the laws and regulations that govern the practice.
