I earned my Associates in Arts Degree from Hartford College for Women, now apart of University of Hartford (Hartford CT) in 1978. I graduated in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Science from The University of New Hampshire. I earned a M.Ed. in Secondary Education at Grand Canyon University in April 2012.
This is my ninth year at Memorial High School. I am certified in Science 8-12, Special Education EC-12, ESL, and Generalist 4-8.
My family liked sunny, friendly San Antonio so much that we came back a second time. I have young adult children and one cat. At home I had so much fun learning new things and doing hands-on activities with the children that I decided science would be just right for me to teach.
I love to read and learn new things. I like going to museums, doing projects, reading, traveling, all types of music, reading and taking photos. Did I say I love to read?
