As anticipated, we exited AYP this year.  It is nice to be "label free"!  We will continue to have high expectations and provide excellent instruction to students to prepare them for TAKS, End of Course tests, and graduation.  Most of our administrative team is returning this year.  We have eleven fresh faces among our faculty and we are excited about the energy and ideas they will bring.

  

Quality instruction is crucial in all areas.  My challenge for the teachers at Memorial High School is "all lessons are engaging, individualized and check for the understanding of every student.  Instruction reflects the teacher’s ability to produce higher level thinking in students."  I am confident that our teachers will meet this challenge.  Working together, we all help ensure the success of our students.
