In Construction Technology, students gain knowledge and skills specific to those needed to enter the work force as carpenters or building maintenance supervisors or prepare for a post-secondary degree in construction management,architecture, or engineering. Students acquire knowledge and skills in safety,tool usage, building materials, codes, and framing. This course is recommended for students in Grade 10-12.
 
 
 
Advanced Construction Technology
In Advanced Construction Technology, students gain knowledge and skills specific to those needed to enter the work force as carpenters building maintenance technicians, or supervisors or prepare for a post-secondary degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering. Students build on the knowledge base from Construction Technology and are introduced to exterior and interior finish out skills.  This course is recommended for students in Grades 11-12. Recommended prerequisites: Construction and Construction Technology.
 
 
In Construction Management, students gain knowledge and skills specific to those needed to enter the work force 
as carpenters or building maintenance supervisors or build a foundation toward a post-secondary degree in 
architecture, construction science, drafting, or engineering. Construction Management includes the knowledge of 
the design techniques and tools related to the management of architectural and engineering projects.
