Ricardo Mireles currently lives and works in San Antonio, Texas.
Originally from Falfurrias, Texas he attended and Graduated from Texas A&I University Kingsville.
In the Fall of 1993 relocated to San Antonio and began working as an Art teacher in an inner city school district. Within the past seven years of his career Ricardo has become increasingly involved with the use of technology in his classroom. Opportunities and responsibilities have allowed him to grow and continue to expand the use of technology, launching a pilot program at his respective campus Mr. Mireles now coordinates a visual media course which is used to motivate and improve school climate.
This news programming attempts to show the community a little insight to the everyday life at school and also highlight school activities and those students that are engaged at that competitive level of education.
Mr. Ricardo Mireles is an avid supporter of the arts and has worked closely with community artists to motivate and encourage students to become active in promoting the fine arts. The skill and knowledge acquired with experience has set forth a path that continues to grow in all aspects of artist creativity and teaching instruction.
The development of teaching strategies with regards to student population can be one of the most challenging things to do. Understanding his students and the needs that they present increasingly motivates him to learn more about technology, the many uses it may present and the growth for which it will continue to provide.
