 I hail from  "La bella ciudad del Alamo", San Antonio, Texas. My formal education started at Lorenzo de Zavala Elementary, continued at Tafolla Middle School, Horace Mann Middle School. and I received my high school diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School. I am proud to say that I was a "Lasso" in the dance team. I continued in our family tradition of attending St. Mary's University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Spanish and a minor in Sociology. Since my employment at Edgewood ISD, I have worked as an educator in elementary schools , middle schools, at the Edgewood Fine Arts Academy and have been here at John F. Kennedy for the past eleven years. Go Rockets!
