I am originally from Wall, New Jersey -a small town on the Jersey Shore. 

I started college at the local community college (Brookdale Community College) before I transferred to Monmouth University where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Management.  After graduation, I continued my education at Monmouth University while I worked as an accountant at a bank in Manhattan.  I earned my Masters of Business Administration.

 

When I moved to San Antonio, I continued my accounting education at UTSA.  There I earned my Masters of Science in Accounting.  I have many years of accounting experience to help bring the real world into my math classes.  I have held numerous positions in accounting, to include Assistant Controller and Accounting Manager and Supervisor.  

 

I went back to school once again to gain my teaching certification through UTSA.   I am certified to teach Mathematics 4-8 and Mathematics 8 - 12.  I worked in San Antonio ISD before transferring to Edgewood.  This is my third year teaching with Edgewood.

 

Outside of school, I spend a lot of time camping with our boy scout troop, quilting and spending time with my family.
