Ms. Casso has directed and taught at the Fine Arts Academy since 2005.
 
Like many students at the Academy, Ms. Casso caught the acting bug her freshman year in high school. An actress throughout high school and college, she graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a B.A in Theatre Arts and a minor in Secondary Education. While at Incarnate Word, Ms. Casso also fell in love with directing and technical theatre.
 
She has directed many shows at the Academy, including: Dark of the Moon, Bye Bye Birdie, The Illusion, Aladdin, Willy Wonka, The Crucible, Beauty & the Beast, The House of Bernarda Alba, The Trojan Women, Dracula, The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella & Blood Wedding.
 
In 2011, Ms. Casso created the Academy Acting Company. The Company consists of 20 auditioned actors and actresses who perform in every theatrical production at the Fine Arts Academy. 

Ms. Casso is an member of the Texas Educational Theatre Association and sponsors the International Thespian Society Troupe 7382.
