Mission Statement
The Mission of the Parent & Community Involvement Initiative is to engage the community in collaborative parent-school-community partnerships aimed at continually improving the academic performance of students through opportunities for continuous learning and leadership development for meaningful participation in school governance and student advocacy.
 
Parent & Family Engagement Program
 
In an effort to continue having families involved to ensure the academic success of the student, the Parent & Family Engagement Program has assigned Parent Educators to every campus at Edgewood ISD. 
 
I'm the Parent Educator assigned to E.T. Wrenn Middle School to ensure that families are informed and become engaged in the various aspects of their children's lives including familiarizing themselves with the campus and their staff & faculty.  
 
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary's University in Political Science and a Master of Arts in Bilingual/Bicultural Education from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
