I was born in Kingsville, TX but raised in Del Rio, TX. I attended Del Rio High School and graduated as a Junior in 2001.
 
I taught 5th grade for 4 years (2 years in Del Rio and 2 years at Winston Elementary) and have taught 6th grade Science 1 year at Gus Garcia Middle School.
 
During my college years, I received my certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy in 2003 to practice pharmacy as a Pharmacy Tech.
 
I graduated from Southwest Texas Junior College with a Associates of Arts degree in Pre-Pharmacy in 2004.
 
I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisiplinary Studies in 2007 from Sul Ross State University - Rio Grand College. I'm certified by the State of Texas in the areas of Generalist 4-8 and Generalist EC-6.
 
I have been blessed with three wonderful children, Iysis, 12 years old, and Ezekiel, 3 years old, and Baby Billy who was born in June!
 
I am a 4th generation teacher. It's in the Genes!!!
