Course Description:

This course includes the history, rules, regulations, terminology, scoring, skills, and game strategy of sports. We emphasis  on physical fitness and developing a healthy lifestyle. Students are expected to develop health-related fitness goals, appreciate teamwork, and sportsmanship. This course reinforces concepts of incorporating physical activity into a lifestyle beyond the competitiveness. The student demonstrates competency in many movement forms and proficiency in two or more team sports such as basketball, volleyball, football, hockey, soccer, softball,or team handball.

NOTE:The ABC approach (Any Body Can Be Fit) will provide opportunities for students to learn about personal fitness, successfully experience personal fitness,assess their own changes in personal fitness, and at the same time enjoy the process.
