I am a life long resident of Texas and I am a Seventh Generation Texan. I was raise in a small town in Northeast Texas. I received my Bachelor's degree in teaching from Sam Houston State University and my Master's degree in History from the University of Texas, San Antonio. I have lived in San Antonio for the past 22 years. This year I am beginning my 20th year in teaching and my 20th year at GGMS. I have taught my entire teaching career in Edgewood.

I am proud to say that I have dedicated my entire career in teaching to the children of Edgewood. I am also very proud of the accomplishments of the students that I have had the honor to know and teach.

I look forward to helping prepare the students of Edgewood for a bright and successful future. I welcome all parents to come and see how their child is progressing and I am available most days, before and after school, for conferences.
