Course Description
The curriculum will expand the student's knowledge of the following performance assessments listed below for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.

Use Art Vocabulary to discuss visual environments, ideas, topics, and themes

Introduce, Review, and Critique two ande three dimensional art works after generating a variety of imaginative visual ideas by using the media of choice

Compare/Contrast Content in art work: past, present, future, conceptual

Begin to create art that investigates formal qualities and explore personal content using selected media

Begin to recognize personal strengths & plan strategies for future artistic development
