My name is Santiago R. Galvan. I've taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I graduated from Our Lady of The Lake University with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a Master's Degree in Education (EC-4).

I would like to welcome all students and their parents to the 2012-2013 school year. Together, we will achieve great things and should have a very rewarding year. As our motto states, "Second to None!", I truly believe that our class can be the best at Winston.

Last year, my class came out in 1st place in numerous catagories and I would like to exceed those remarkable accomplishments. However, I can not do it by myself. It takes a team effort between all 3 of us; *student - giving 100% effort *parent - making sure their child attends school everyday and ensuring they do their best *teacher - doing all I can so that every student in my classroom has an equal opportunity to learn I will be updating this web page periodically and you should be able to access the following information:
