  • We have been reading about what illustrators do and how illustrations help us understand the stories we read. My favorite illustrator is Jan Brett. Have you seen the books by Jan Brett in our classroom library? What do you think about her illustrations?

We have been reading about what illustrators do and how illustrations help us understand the stories we read.  My favorite illustrator is Jan Brett.  She has written and illustrated many books such as The Mitten and The Wild Christmas Reindeer.  There is a basket of her books in our classroom library.  Make sure you take a look at her very detailed illustrations.  The pictures in her book help me to understand the characters much better.
