READING STRATEGIES:
They are to be used whenever a student reads a passage.
1. Underline the Title
    a. Students should underline the title to get a better understanding of what they are going to read.
2.Read the Passage
    a. Students should read the passa ge and take notice of vocabulary that may give them difficulty and practice reading
        them to increase their fluency.
3. Brain Prints
    a. Students should read each paragraph and summarize with key words or pictures to remind them of what they have
       just read.
4.Reread Passage Again
   a. Students should always read a passage at least 3 times to better understand and comprehend.
5.Questions and Responses
   a.Read each question and take out silly responses
   b.Choose a response that will make sense
   c. Proof your response by looking for evidence in the passage and on notes by each paragraph.
