                               I am a 5th grade teacher with eight years teaching experience and 18 years
in education.  My expectations are high for both my students and myself. 
If I can earn a Bachelor's degree 30 years after dropping out of college, then
 I know each of you can achieve your dreams too.

Family is very important to me.  I've been married for 36 years, blessed with
3 sons: Gary Jr. the policeman, Clayton an oil rig roughneck and SK8er,
and Preston a two year cadet at the United States Military Academy at
West Point, but currently preparing for a 2 year church mission...  I have a
beautiful 5 year old grandson named Josiah and a  two year old angel for a
grandson named Jeremiah.
 
I live on my grandfather's ranch in Medina, Texas and love the hill country,
wildlife, rocks, and my cows (very big pets).   My family's hobbies include
hunting, salt water fishing, baseball, and site seeing historical locations.
Personally, I enjoy relaxing by crocheting, reading, and watching old movies.
