             Hello, My name is Carmela Gallegos.  I am honored to be teaching Kindergarten again at Winston Elementary. I grew up in the Edgewood district. I went to Perales Elementary, then to Brentwood Middle School and finally graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, HOME of THE ROCKETS! I graduated from Texas A&M University-San Antonio with a degree in Criminology and Sociology. I  also have a double Master's degree; specializing in Early Childhood and Reading.
              I love to read all kinds of books.I hope that your child enjoys and will love to read books too.  I love to watch sports too! My favorite teams are; the Texas A&M Aggies, Texas Rangers, San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio Missions, and the San Antonio Rampage. I love animals. I presently have an Agora cat named Big Red and a half New York Terrier half Daschund dog named Austin. Now let's began our journey into the world of Kinergarten!
